I breath a heavy sigh of relief, and nearly shout for joy.

Laptop restored to 80% of full.

I know that number is correct, because I've owned it for 5 years, and I was able to restore a back up from 1 year ago - Thus, 80%.

In fact, it's probably a little more than that. For reasons I won't go into, I had backed up my Documents and Desktop a week ago, so the only real thing that I've lost is about 260 megs of really important data, and some questionable programs that I wasn't using anyway.

Hooray for Disk Images on a back up hard-drive! It's only a shame I didn't back up more often.

To make things even better - the Net-book that was the cause of it all has been fixed as well. *GLEE*

Feeling much better about my dumb ass today.

Here's hoping tomorrow is even better!
